Eco couture and up cycling

I have always cherished every scrap of fine fabric in the studio and enjoy up cycling vintage textiles. Here are some examples where a sustainable design approach, using collected remnants or ethical silks gives these unique pieces a real point of difference. I’m planning a further group of beach style wedding dresses using Fairtrade organic cottons and incorporating vintage textiles. My intention being that a cherished dress remains in the ‘eco brides’ wardrobe for future summers and holidays, becoming even more meaningful.
